Fifth Graders have a busy year academically, socially and emotionally. There are many worlds of learning and opportunities that meet these students. Performance is stressed in many areas. The year is a shift from elementary to future middle-school student as they continue to learn and grow.

Get Net Wise - A website which contains a listing of tools to help protect a family's computer, including child-safe web browsers, filtering software, and virus protection.

iSafe -This website was created by a federal grant and is supported by the Department of Justice. In addition to online training resources regarding online safety, the site contains information for parents and educators about how to communicate the importance of online safety to children.

Netsmartz - This website features engaging activities to teach students in primary grades through middle school about how to be Net savvy. Also contains resources for parents and educators about Internet lingo, cyberbullying, viruses, and identity theft.
