Routine Homework:

Spelling - Day 1-write words 3x, Days 2-4 - an activity sheet, Day 5 - Parent Given Practice Spelling Test (wrong words written 3x each)

***If you forget to bring home your spelling homework, just write each word 2x each or in alphabetical order so I know you practiced them!

Math - Monday - Thursday: homework to go with the day's lesson
(The teacher may choose not to give homework if she feels students need more instruction before practicing independently with homework). *Usually a quiz end of week on week's concepts.

Fact Practice Homeroom Sequential Addition/Subtraction Homework with 1 minute practice tests to build upon each night for Monday - Thursday (minute test given on Fridays)

Reading - "book in a bag", or a story practice packet, or a writing nightly packet from guided reading teacher.

Science/Social Studies - occasional worksheet or project.
