Adapted/Modified PE
This course is designed to modify/adapt the regular education couse by individualizing instruction based on a student's immediate need concerning injury, rehabilitative processes, socialization, or a program that provides life long activity due to the nature of one's individual needs. If interested and think this is the class for you, please contact Mrs. Ellison for more information.
Students have the option of a fitness center that features treadmills, bicycles, strength training devices, therapy bands, rowing machine, stepper machine, weight bench/dumbbells, Dance Dance Revolution and much more!
We also have available life long activities such as power walking, yoga/pilates, P90X training, badminton, pickle ball, boxing, traverse wall climbing, parachutes, ping pong, cooperative and scooter games to name a few.
Students are assessed through attendance, fitness evaluation, heart rate monitors, kinetic skills, observed engagement in lifetime individual activities etc.
