Science Olympiad

A competitive club in which 15 participants compete in 23 events relating to science during a competition lasting about a day. Three categories of events exist: building events, wherein a device is built before the competition that is required to complete a certain task; lab events, which involve a hands-on activity about a topic; and study events, where participants take a written test about a pre-determined scientific topic.

There are separate divisions for middle school and high school. J.T. Lambert, High School South, and High School North have teams, although the JTL and ES South teams are more successful, both having qualified for the state finals in recent years.
