Peer pressure is not something that I succumb to easily. There was, however, one instance where a group of kids in my class had signled out and unleashed an onslaught of insults on a kid in the class because he was different from them. In order to prevent myself from being persecuted like this one boy was, I caved under the pressure and joined in. I felt terrible afterwards and now I can see that it was very selfish of me. But, like my favorite saying states "Hindsight is 20/20."
