As of the fall of 2014, we are starting to use a new program to help with paperwork and ease of communication.
Charms Office Assistant
This is a program created for band directors and other music teachers and is used around the country.
This year, my goals for using this program include:
1) student/parent information for ease of creating mailing labels and email lists
2) student account information accessible online
3) calendar and parent volunteer sign-ups online
Let's Get Started...
Go to: www.charmsoffice.com
Log in as a student/parent.
Our School Code is: ESHSSBand
Your student area password is your Student ID number.
See videos below for more information. (I'm not very tech smart, but I'm trying!)

Students are expected to attend all performances. -
Honors Band

Theory and Fingering Games
Use these to have fun and improve your band skills!
-
Use the settings button in the top right hand corner to fit your needs or challenge you more!
-
This only accepts thumb Bb, but is good otherwise.
-
Labels some keys with numbers, some with letters. Watch out for the F's.
-
This one is AMAZING! Watch how you click for right hand hand half-holes.
-
Change the level of difficulty to work on your high notes and chromatics. (But understand that it might not do every alternate fingering.)
-
The fingering shapes are a bit confusing, but you'll get it!
-
Watch the directions. Horns are only F-side fingerings, Tuba is 3 valve, no trigger on the trombone.
-
Name the note highlighted on the keyboard
-
Click on the key/bar related to letter
