Science

The purpose of Biology I is to give you a better understanding of the world around you as well as prepare you for other science courses that you must take.  Major topics include:  biochemistry, cell organelles, cell function, cell respiration, photosynthesis, mitosis, meiosis, and genetics.

The purpose of General Science is to give you a better understanding of the world around you as to prepare you for other science courses. Major topics include: the scientific method, the metric system, atomic structure, gas laws, periodic table of elements, motion, forces, acceleration, simple machines, and energy.
