Each person has a learning style. Learning styles can and do change for many individuals. Some people are very good with words, others prefer to listen to instructions rather than writing them down, while others do both. I would like you to learn about your learning style and preferences. Assignment:
In a Word document, answer the following questions and then upload the document for my review.
? What are the different learning styles? Describe in one or two sentences each different learning style.
? What type of learner are you based on the survey(s)?
? Were you surprised with the results, or was it what you anticipated?
? Were the results the same or at least similar in both assessments?
? Do your learning preferences match your school class preferences?
Also, think about how you take math tests and complete math assignments:
? Do you draw pictures to represent the problems?
? Do you write everything down as you solve the problem, or do you use mental math?
? Do you try to use previous problems as models to solve new problems?
? Do you rewrite the problems from the text before solving homework problems?
? Do you like to write on the paper when taking a test or completing a homework worksheet?
