Drug Awareness Project Agenda
Days 1 and 2-Introduce the project and view and example of the final poster.

Click on "See Documentary" on the left side of the page. There will be a list of 12 different drugs to choose from. Each student will choose a minimum 5 different documentaries to view. While viewing each video, students will fill out specific information on the handout. When the handout is complete it MUST be turned into the teacher to be graded before moving on to the poster. The information that is collected will be used to create a factual poster on the effects of drugs on the body.
Days 3 and 4- Students will use the information collected to create the factual poster. The poster must include:
1. 20 different drug effects with a picture to represent each. The effect can be physical, mental, social, financial or any other aspect of a person's life.
2. When describing an effect, be sure to number and circle each and specifically mention the drug or slang term that causes the effect.
3. Facts and pictures may not be repeated for any drugs. When the poster is complete each student will write one paragraph (minimum of 5 sentences) on the back of the poster to respond the following:
