Monday students will be introduced to the new phonics skill (short e and short o) .    Tuesday we will do a picture walk of the story and make predictions of what we think might happen they will also do a worksheet that introduces new vocabulary..  Then we will read The Shore Day together and talk about "tricky words".  On Wednesday we will read Dry Skin we will review the vocabulary words.  On Thursday we will compare a grapefruit and an orange using a Double Bubble Map.  On Friday students will partner read the story and we take a vocabulary and comprehension quiz about this week's story.
